City, county budgeting for gasoline

Even though gasoline prices are down significantly throughout the nation, local county and city governments are not preparing 2009 budgets with cheap gas in mind.
“It’s always a guessing game with gas prices,” said Nancy Bain, co-chairwoman of Athens City Council’s Finance Committee.
